We help 'INDUSTRY SPECIALISTS' identify best practice, benchmark and achieve excellence.
Rod Auton from NZ Trucking Association said to us;
“Success Formula tells a CEO what’s going on in his business”.
Keith Muir, compliance manager from Smith and Davies commented;
“Success Formula brought our people together and they started discussing the business”.
Here's how three of our clients are using Success Formula to overcome their own challenges...
The story of RML Engineering

The RML story is one of great success; they came from being a disjointed Hamilton based organisation, making average profits and struggling to retain and recruit staff, to a highly successful exporting company, that can confidently call themselves an NZ employer of choice!
Just ask Larry Greene, Managing Director, and he will happily show you the direct correlation between their company bottom lines and their increasing Success Formula index! RML were our first client and have had their formula in place since Dec 06.
All the RML team relate to their (some what tongue-in-cheek) pictograms and refer to the ideas regularly when evaluating any type of performance. Larry personally reports each quarterly report back to the team, and discusses with them openly how to improve the results, and what to do to get them working even better and smarter.
Additionally, the anonymous ideas/feedback that have resulted from the ongoing scoring have created some of the most successful RML business outcomes.
See if you can spot one the success limiters they’re particularly committed to eliminating – ‘passing the buck’
The story of a Carbon Neutral formula for a large manufacturing site
Shayne works for a large food manufacturing company that has significant presence in Australasia.
Shayne is driven to get his site carbon neutral and he had the experts measure the current status of his sites carbon footprint; not a pretty result.
Shayne knew his sites carbon footprint measures were not going to change unless behaviours and attitudes changed. Shayne’s issue was how to get his team and colleagues to buy into making a difference and how could behaviours be quantified and qualified.
A formula to express the drivers and limiters to reach carbon neutral was the way to go. Shayne is currently in the brainstorming stage with his stakeholders so watch this space for the outcome...
The story of benchmarking by a franchised operation
The franchisor sees compliance as critical. They are selling their proven business model and want standards upheld 100%".In reality though Franchisees are business people in their own right. Sometimes they have methods that are, in their view, better than the franchisor dictates.
The Success Formula approach is allowing franchisees to feed these ideas back, for review; providing the collective genius which is exploited and integrated throughout the franchise network."
The franchisees are clarifying standards for best practice and measuring their performance against those benchmarks. The franchisor is getting robust quality control and a framework to enable collaborative continous improvement.
