Our team continually strives to be the best at what we do. To achieve that vision, in conjunction with all our stakeholders, we created our unique formula for our success.
This formula enables us to benchmark our ongoing performance. Each image has been carefully chosen to reflect the key attributes we believe are important for success; top line = Business Drivers (areas to excel), bottom line = business limiters (areas to eliminate).
ASK: The best strategy for developing a winning formula is gathering a broad range of perspectives. In brainstorming the key behaviours, practices, and principles that drive and limit our success, we involved all those with a vested interest in Success Formula. This information was then grouped and prioritised to determine the most critical principles. At the end our winning formula emerged. Each principle was titled, given a succinct qualifying description and visual icon to represent our culture.
Choosing our images generated interesting conversation amongst the team and proved to be a very thought provoking values exercise. After much deliberation we created the formula below; a visual representation of what we need to do.
THINK: Creating our winning formula was the first step in the journey. To improve performance and achieve our goals everyone, (including our suppliers), has committed to measuring (and improving) the effectiveness of every day practices against this standard. It is important for us to always involve our stakeholders so that we continue to get a balanced view.
GROW: Over the last two years we are delighted that our performance has steadily tracked upward. We use our formula in many ways. For example; internal and external communication, and staff inductions. The reports give the directors tools to test strategic thinking, look for gaps in performance, and leverage opportunities to innovate and drive the company towards achieving our vision.
